The first 8 images are straight prints using a traditional capture method with a plastic medium format camera made in the 1960′s called the Diana camera.

The Diana camera has a plastic lens that produces images with a center weighted focus and a soft vignetted effect around the perimeter. This creates a very dream like quality.

The negatives were then scanned using a high resolution drum scanner for highest optical DPI and bit depth. Minor print adjustments were made in Photoshop to correct dust and scratches.

The images were printed using PiezoTone Quad Black inks on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. PiezoTone inks are capable of producing an image quality that competes directly with fine platinum printing. They produce continuous-tone, image permanence, tonal control and exquisite aesthetic appearance.

The remainder of the collection was captured using a digital SLR camera using existing light.
